Expert agri advice
Users receive training on modern and sustainable agronomic practices to help boost yields, to engage in new growing seasons and to diversify their cropping patterns beyond staple crops towards high-value crops.
On-field demonstration
In small groups, users are shown best practices for each cultivation step, from soil preparation to precise irrigation to harvesting. These demonstrations are provided by a trained and qualified Agronomist.
Capacity building
Some users also receive additional capacity building on financial and agri-business management, digital literacy, and new agronomic techniques.

500+
smallholder farmers including women farmers have been trained on modern and sustainable agronomic practices to help them boost yields, to engage in new growing seasons and diversify their cropping patterns. High-quality seeds of okra, bottle gourd and black-eyed beans were distributed to the farmers as part of a kitchen garden training. Farmers were also trained on the SRI method for paddy cultivation.
65+
women farmers have been trained as ‘Krishi Sakhis’. They were provided with training in digital literacy, financial and agri-business management, and new agronomic techniques, during a 4-day workshop. Participants learned how to grow new high-value crops such as black wheat and marigold, how to use a mobile phone, and the operation and maintenance of solar assets.
